The past few months have been a whirl wind. When the pandemic started, Western Carwash Association headed straight to work. WCA created a COVID-19 resource page that provided our membership with the best resources to help them navigate through this uncertain time.
With our large membership base, we also have a group of industry experts who gave insight during webinars on how to navigate various topics. These webinars covered how to apply for loans through the Small Business Administration, an update on the CARES Act and, most importantly, how to navigate through COVID-19 with employees and their businesses.
In response to the crisis, Western Carwash Association also created the Car Wash Colleague Program to promote unity within the car wash industry. All current memberships were extended an additional three months at no cost. We also offered non-members exclusive access to our member benefits at no cost.
One important lesson that we have learned is that as a car wash community, we are stronger together. As we continue to watch how the pandemic will unfold, we are hopeful that we will still be able to enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth together in the fall for our Anaheim Roadshow Education session.
