Western Carwash Association is back in action for 2020! 2019 was filled with our largest Roadshow yet. We had over 150 attendees tour car washes in Anaheim, Calif., and enjoy a nice lunch at a local automobile museum that showcased over $30 million worth of exotic, classic and historical automobiles. We also partnered with ICA to present an installment of the new Manager Fundamentals Course.

In Sacramento, we hosted an informative night about the new legislative changes and significant case laws that would affect car wash operators in 2020. With the help of our partner law firm PKWH, we were able to help attendees get prepared for the New Year.

In conjunction with the Sacramento law update event, WCA’s Board of Directors met to plan for 2020 and beyond. Marla Mayer of Weiss Guys Express Washes in Arizona was recognized for her efforts leading the association forward as 2018-2019 President, and Jason Anthony of 7 Flags Car Washes in Northern California was welcomed in as the 2020 President. WCA would not be successful without the support of an active board!

With 2019 behind us, we’ve got this year cut out for us.

Our first education and Roadshow of the year will be in Denver, Colo., June 23-24. Disneyland was such a hit that we will be doing round two this year!
