This year my oldest daughter turned 13 and I’ve found myself thinking that it’s just not possible that I am a parent of a teenager. It certainly wasn’t that long ago that I drove our Honda Civic home at a snail’s pace to safely transport a tiny human who was less than 72 hours old.
It was that long ago.
As we put this issue of CAR WASH Magazine™ to bed, I’m having a similar experience. This marks the 10-year anniversary of the very first issue in the Fall of 2011. It certainly wasn’t that long ago that ICA sent a 52-page publication out to members across the globe with the goal of becoming the preferred source of information for car wash business leaders.
It was that long ago.
I’d like to think that we’ve accomplished that audacious goal from the beginning – to become the preferred source of information for car wash business leaders. But that doesn’t mean we get to put it in neutral.
Like the industry has transformed over the last decade and like it will continue to rapidly change, CAR WASH Magazine will continue to evolve. It certainly wasn’t that long ago that a print publication was enough to satiate the need for car wash stories, ideas and inspiration to make us all better business owners.
It was that long ago.
