Q: Tell us about your business.

A: All In One provides on-site power washing throughout central Illinois for residential, commercial/industrial and government jobs of all sizes. The range of jobs we tackle encompasses cars, RVs and motor homes but also entire fleets of trucks, structural exterior surfaces, concrete preparation, massive bridges, boats, construction clean-up and everything in between.

Q: How did you get into the car wash business?

A: All In One’s motto is: Just get it clean. All In One started 14 years ago as a personal passion in a pickup truck. From there we went to a cargo van and now we have a fleet of box trucks and trailers, which contain all the water and equipment needed for the job. These units have become our best advertising as it pulls up to each job. All In One is a State of Illinois certified Minority/Female Business Enterprise and an IDOT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.

Q: How do you market your business?

A: Our marketing philosophy is to present our company as an independent, service-oriented small business. Our marketing strategy is two-fold. First, we must continue to grow a loyal customer base on which to build our business. Second, we must expand this customer base to ensure a long lasting and solid relationship with our repeat customers and continued vitality of the business with the addition of new customers. Our initial customer base has substantially increased due to repeat customer base, customer referrals, community awareness, our reputation for excellent service, and our active involvement in community affairs as well as serving as a board director and an ambassador for the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.

Q: How do you impress your customers?

A: With no brick and mortar location, All In One specializes in personal and professional cleaning needs where our experts come to you. Saving you time and money from having to drive to a car wash or a detailing facility. All In One sets up shop in a location and people are fascinated that the water source and extraction are all self-contained.

Q:Any advice for successful hiring?

A: I believe an applicant is invaluable when he or she possess some of the characteristics as good work ethic, being on-time, dependable and eager and willingness to learn in order to grow with the company. Our employees are dedicated experts who are courteous, well-trained and are engaged by providing quality work and going the extra mile. We encourage our employees to exude professionalism inside and out. We tell them, “Put your signature on it.”

Q: What’s your secret to excellent customer service?

A: Always strive to exceed your customer’s expectations. The truth of the matter is that you might not always be able to do that. If you deliver a good product, be consistent with it. If you have multiple sites, be consistent.
