Car Wash Show Europe™

The third edition of Car Wash Show Europe™, the continent’s premier event for the car wash industry, was held 18-19 September in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The event, presented by International Carwash Association (ICA) and ProMedia Europoint, featured tours of local car washes, product displays, seminars, and receptions. It drew 2,300 total participants – a record for the event – and 60 total exhibiting companies in a sold-out exhibit hall.

“In its third iteration, Car Wash Show Europe has truly solidified its unique position as the only event for car wash professionals and their business needs,” said International Carwash Association CEO Eric Wulf. “It’s wonderful to watch people discover this event, share it with their colleagues, and gather in Amsterdam every other year.” More than 57 countries were represented at the event.

“The exhibit hall at Car Wash Show Europe is a terrific place to do business, especially with so many in attendance,” Wulf said. “But it’s about so much more than what happens during the trade fair. Connections are being made on tour buses, at cocktail receptions, and during seminars, and those relationships last long after the event. These connections make the car wash industry global, and that interconnectedness makes car washes and suppliers thrive.”

Also part of the event was an awards dinner on the evening of Wednesday, 18 September, when ICA recognized two car wash leaders for Distinguished Achievement Awards. Suzanne Huisman of Belgium’s car wash association (BBRV) and Brian Madderson of the UK’s Car Wash Association (CWA) were honored for their exemplary work in fighting human trafficking at unregistered, illegal hand car wash locations.
