2015 ICA Award Recipients

The International Carwash Association, is proud to recognize the 2015 Hall of Fame and Innovation in Leadership Award recipients, who were presented their awards at The Car Wash Show™ 2015.

Two Hall of Fame Awards were presented at this year’s show. The award was presented to Thomas Ennis, founder of NS Wash Systems. Over the past 52 years, he has created innovative systems that deliver among the most safe, maintenance-free and thorough washes in the industry. Ennis has patented 60 cutting-edge technologies and continues to look for new ways to improve the car wash business. ICA is honored to welcome Thomas Ennis into the ICA Hall of Fame.

The second Hall of Fame Award was presented to the late Harold McKonly, who founded Kleen-Rite in 1959. Under his leadership, the company grew from a small mail house parts operation into one of the leading supplier companies in the car wash industry. ICA is proud to honor McKonly’s legacy by presenting him with this award.

The Innovation in Leadership Award was presented to brothers Dale Brott, president of DRB Systems and Ken Brott, vice president, sales and marketing at DRB Systems. Ken and Dale have spent 30 years delivering products to car wash operators that helped to noticeably increase their profits while gaining a deeper understanding of their business. The forward-thinking philosophy of the Brotts has led to the development of products have benefited countless operators in their local area and across the country.
