“We are grateful for the partnership ZIPS has established with us this year as they celebrate their 20th anniversary by giving back,” said Brandon Baker, Folds of Honor Representative. “Their efforts are assisting families across the country as they have honored 15 students to date and will continue to recognize five more students before Veteran’s Day. Their partnership and the customer support that has been shown to our organization helps us honor the sacrifice of so many service families,” he added.
ZIPS is proud to partner with Folds of Honor to celebrate its 20th Anniversary with a $20,000 Give Back Tour and by giving Folds of Honor $1 for every new app download on key military holidays including July 4th, September 11th and November 11th. ZIPS Customers have already donated over $60,000 through their car wash purchases since the kickoff on June 4th. Scholarships are awarded to students of fallen or wounded soldiers and first responders in honor of their service and sacrifice. The students who will be honored at the ceremony in Durham tomorrow are Leilani Barbosa and Dajana Gaube-Ogle.
