Voting Opens for ”Propose at Soapy Joe's”

The pandemic has derailed A LOT of wedding plans over the last year – one survey by Lending Tree even reported that 63% of engaged couples put off their wedding in 2020 because of the coronavirus outbreak. It’s likely that many more delayed their engagement. So Soapy Joe’s Car Wash decided to help out those in love by offering a “Propose at Soapy Joe’s” event.

Beginning on Valentine’s Day until February 28, San Diego, Calif., couples recorded video of themselves committing their lives to one another from inside one of Soapy Joe’s “tunnels of love.” They then shared on Instagram tagging @soapyjoes and @honeyjewelryco, and submitted their video to the Soapy Joe’s website.

Until March 8 at 11:59 p.m. PST, the public can vote on their favorite Propose at Soapy Joe's video at https://soapyjoescarwash.com/tunnel-of-love/.

All participating couples who shared qualifying proposals at the Soapy Joe’s website will receive a year of free washes.

The winning couple, which will be announced on March 10, will receive a set of wedding rings from San Diego’s Honey Jewelry Co. valued at $3,500 and $10,000 cash.
