Sharie Sipowicz, former sales manager for DETAIL PLUS Car Appearance Systems Inc., passed away peacefully on Aug. 2, 2023, with her family by her side. She was 74 of age.

Sipowicz, who lived in Portland, Ore., was involved in the detail industry for over 30 years — both as a vendor of products and equipment and as a hands-on operator in a retail detail environment. From 1987 until she retired in 2017, she worked at DETAIL PLUS, most recently as a national sales manager.

Sipowicz’s husband, Joe, was a technical services manager at DETAIL PLUS for 20 years, until he passed away in 2006.

“Sharie was like family to me,” said Bud Abraham, president emeritus of DETAIL PLUS. “Sharie was a freshman in high school when her dad started coaching youth football with me in 1963.”

Sipowicz leaves behind a daughter Aubrey and a granddaughter Emma.

A memorial service date has not been set yet. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help with funeral expenses.
