The Preventative Automotive Maintenance Association (PAMA), the leading voice for oil change, fast lube, and automotive maintenance operators, is pleased to announce its partnership with Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies as its policy advisor and government affairs service provider. Cozen O’Connor will lead PAMA’s policy initiatives for the preventative automotive industry at both the national and state levels as needed.
Madison Smith, an experienced government affairs professional, will head the Cozen team. Smith brings extensive experience in transportation and right-to-repair issues, with a background that includes roles in both the public and private sectors, including on Capitol Hill and with a leading technology company. Towner French and Jessica Monahan, two other senior members at Cozen, will also play key roles in working with PAMA day-to-day.
“We are excited to begin this new chapter in PAMA’s government affairs mission,” said Justin Cialella, former PAMA president and current Chair of the PAMA Government Affairs Committee. “Cozen O’Connor’s experience, national reach, and service philosophy will greatly benefit our members.”
PAMA remains dedicated to advocating for key issues such as Right to Repair, OSHA regulations, national weights and measures, oil management standards, and state-specific concerns. Through its partnership with Cozen O’Connor, PAMA will continue to keep its members informed on important government affairs developments.
