Motor City Wash Works, a premier manufacturer of conveyorized vehicle wash systems, equipment, and controls for the professional car wash industry, is proud to announce the success of the 2023 Open House and Charity Auction, as well as the “Washing Cars. Fighting Cancer.” promotion. With a donation made of $340,085, and a total goal of $400,000, to be met by the end of September, 2023.

For 10 years, Motor City Wash Works has partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to raise nearly 2 million dollars in total donations. This year’s Charity Auction, held at the GEM Theater, raised $340,085 during a bidding war for MCWW equipment, St. Jude patient’s handmade artwork, and Give-to-Live segments. A truly inspiring event with the sole purpose of helping the children of St. Jude and raising awareness of St. Jude’s lifesaving mission, where every dollar counts.

In combination with the Charity Auction event donation, Motor City Wash Works and St. Jude’s have come together in our joint campaign “Washing Cars. Fighting Cancer.”, a point-of-sale promotion for car wash sites to participate in. Throughout the month of September, when customers arrived at a participating car wash, they were able to make a one-time donation to St. Jude before paying for their wash of choice.

Motor City Wash Works looks forward to continuing our contribution, through this point-of-sale promotion, to the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
