Motor City Wash Works, a manufacturer of conveyorized vehicle wash systems, equipment, and controls for the professional car wash industry, is proud to announce the acquisition of Washlink Systems, a car wash controls and technology company located in Morgan Hill, Calif.
Washlink, LLC, will operate as a stand-alone business, supplying complete point-of-sale systems, motor control centers, and car wash controllers to the car wash industry. The company’s president, Steve Homan, will continue to drive the future direction of Washlink, LLC. Homan began his career working at Classic Car Wash in 1979. Since 1981, Homan has serviced, repaired and installed all brands of car wash equipment. In 1989, Homan founded Washlink Systems. In 2019, Washlink Systems introduced a complete, state-of-the-art point-of-sale system including ORT-based LPR, bulletproof Auto Cashier hardware and software.
“We are super excited! The partnership between Washlink Systems and Motor City Wash Works will allow us to be the leader in the industry and beyond,” Homan said.
“We are really pleased to have Steve and his team join the Motor City family. The new combination of Washlink and our CruzControl products has positioned Motor City Wash Works at the leading edge of site connectivity. The CruzControl platform offers endless data points that can be monitored. If you want it monitored, we now have the product to handle it,” said Lee Belanger, president of Motor City Wash Works.
