Moo Moo Express Car Wash is proud toannounce the donation of $13,590 to the Central Ohio chapter of the MuscularDystrophy Association (MDA).
The donations were collected March 16-18 at all 13Central Ohio Moo Moo Express Car Wash locations, in conjunction with the MDA’s“Summer Camp Donation Weekend.” The proceeds donated will send 6 local kids toMDA Summer Camp, free of charge.During the campaign , Moo Moo Express collected $5 donations at the wash kiosk. Inexchange for a monetary donation, customers received a coupon good for a free WholePlus Car Wash ($13 value) their next visit.
“Our generous customers continue to aid us in making a difference within our localcommunity,” said John Roush, Chief Executive Officer of Express Wash Concepts, parent company of Moo Moo Express Car Wash. “This donation will help children that suffer from a muscle-debilitating disease tofeel like a normal kid for a week, despite the everyday challenges they may face. Weare certain that this donation will positively impact the Muscular Dystrophy Association,and the lives of the children they service.”
Leading the fight to free individuals from the effects of muscular dystrophy, ALS, andrelated muscle-debilitating diseases, the Muscular Dystrophy Association strives to helpkids and adults live longer and grow stronger though research breakthroughs, caring forindividuals, and empowering families with service and support.
Each summer across thecountry, the MDA sends more than 3,800 kids to MDA Summer Camp. During the weeksof June 10th to June 22nd in Central Ohio, campers will participate in fun activities thatinclude swimming, horseback riding, rock climbing, fishing, and making new friends.
