Moo Moo Express Car Wash is proud to announce the donation of $16,270 to the YMCA of Central Ohio’s overnight camp – Camp Willson. The donations were collected May 24-26, 2019 at all 16 Central Ohio Moo Moo Express Car Wash locations and have been designated to help provide financial assistance to families to send their child to YMCA Summer Camp.

Throughout the Camp Willson donation weekend, Moo Moo Express offered a free “Whole Plus” car wash ($13 value) to customers in exchange for a $5 monetary donation. One hundred percent of proceeds benefitted the Camp Willson campaign. At the campaign’s conclusion, Moo Moo gave away more than 3,254 free car washes, totaling more than $42,300 at full retail value.

“We’re very proud to give local children— who might otherwise not have the opportunity— the financial ability to experience overnight camp with the YMCA,” said John Roush, Chief Executive Officer of Express Wash Concepts and Founding Partner of Moo Moo Express Car Wash. “Once again, the immense support of our staff and customers produced incredible results and we thank them greatly for their efforts.”

Located in Bellefontaine, YMCA Camp Willson is a 500-acre memory maker for children ages 7-17. Campers experience swimming, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, making music, creating art and roasting marshmallows by the fireside. Each summer, YMCA Camp Willson welcomes thousands of kids and teens for outdoor adventures that build friendships, leadership and the Y’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. The Y’s ability to offer financial assistance means no child is turned away for a family’s inability to pay.
