Cincinnati-based Mike’s Carwash announces the appointment of Joe Dahm as President. Mike Dahm will remain in his current position as CEO of the 74-year-old company that maintains 35 carwash facilities across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

As the grandson of the founder of Mike’s Carwash, with whom he shares the same first name, Joe Dahm grew up in the carwash business, working nights, weekends, and summers as a carwash team member. After graduating from St. Xavier High School, Joe continued to work at Mike’s as he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communication from Miami University. He went on to earn an MBA in Finance from Xavier. After working at Cintas Corporation, Joe joined Mike’s in 2016. He managed several Mike’s carwash locations in Cincinnati, before moving to the company’s Support Center in Loveland. Prior to being named to his most recent position as Director of Strategy, Joe was the company’s Financial Analyst.

“This is an important and timely announcement on many levels,” said CEO Mike Dahm. “First, it positions Mike’s for both accelerated, and profitable growth moving forward. Continuing as CEO, I will focus my energy on the company’s aggressive expansion plans. Joe will focus on the day-to-day operations of our considerable footprint, working closely with what I believe to be the best leadership team in the carwash business. Secondly, as a 74-year-old family owned and operated business, it was important to me to have a succession plan that ensures we remain family owned for generations to come.”
