Last week, International Carwash Association hosted the first-ever edition of its weekly livestream, CAR WASH Magazine Live. Hosted by CAR WASH Magazine Editor-in-Chief Matt DeWolf, the inaugural episode featured guests Tom Hoffman, Jr., Owner of Hoffman Car Wash, and Eric Wulf, ICA Chief Executive Officer.

The episode covered a variety of issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic—including resources and details shared by ICA, how Hoffman Car Wash has handled the issue in the virus hot spots in New York State, and the pandemic’s overall effects on wash owners, operators, and the industry at large. This week’s episode, airing April 2 at 11:30 AM Central, will help operators and owners navigate the latest stimulus bills in the United States (CARES and FFCRA) from both human resources and business perspectives. Our guests this week will include Claudia St. John, President of Affinity HR Group and Joanna Johnson, President of Johnson Policy Associates. Plus, we’ll talk with Andrew Zamora, President of Racer Classic Car Wash, about how his wash is managing COVID-19 and staying active in their local community.

The first episode had more than 300 viewers during the livestream, and at press time had reached 5,750 people in the past week.
