Flying Ace Express Car Wash donated $7,351 to Beavercreek’s Feed The Creek non-profit organization, which provides weekend food assistance for area Beavercreek children in need. The donations were collected from Flying Ace Express customers at the company’s Seajay Dr. Grand Opening/Free Wash Week held April 6-15, 2019.
During the Grand Opening, Flying Ace Express offered a free signature “Flying Ace” car wash ($15 value) to every customer in exchange for a monetary donation to Feed The Creek. Flying Ace Express also offered discounted retail gift cards with all proceeds donated back to Feed The Creek. Throughout the week-long Grand Opening, Flying Ace Express gave away more than 5,170 free car washes.
“One of the most important obstacles hindering a child’s learning process is hunger, and although it’s not always apparent there is a large need throughout Beavercreek and Greater Dayton for access to nutritious food outside of normal school hours,” said Dan Eisenhauer, Flying Ace Partner and Express Wash Concepts Vice President of Operations. “When we were introduced to Feed The Creek, we immediately knew we could leverage our customer’s generosity during our Seajay Dr. Grand Opening to raise money that would positively impact so many area children.”
Founded in 2010, Feed the Creek has been helping to end weekend hunger in the lives of Beavercreek children by providing supplemental, nutritious weekend food assistance. In 2018, more than 55 volunteers assembled and delivered more than 13,200 food bags for local children.
