Flagstop Car Wash (“Flagstop” or the “Company”), the leading express car wash brand in Richmond, Virginia, announced the opening of two new sites in Colonial Heights and Chesterfield, Virginia. The launch of these locations keeps Flagstop on track to expand its platform to 25 locations by 2025 and represents another step forward in the company’s strategic growth initiative. Flagstop currently has two additional sites under construction in Farmville and Ashland, Virginia.
Building on the momentum of the Company’s acquisition of a three-unit platform earlier this year, the Colonial Heights and Harpers Mill, Chesterfield locations play a key role in Flagstop’s strategy to continue growing its density in Central Virginia by providing accessible express washes at convenient locations. As a local business with deep roots in the Greater Richmond metropolitan area, the opening of these two sites reinforces Flagstop’s continued commitment to investing in the community and expanding the Company’s positive relationship with Richmond’s residents. Flagstop’s nearly 43 years of established trust within the Richmond community continues to serve as the bedrock of its growth objectives.

Flagstop also announced the launch of its own state-of-the-art mobile app to enhance its customer experience and streamline the entire car wash process from start to finish. The Flagstop app allows guests to reserve their express washes ahead of time and track their visit history, making for a contactless and more enjoyable experience for drivers. Guests can also earn “WashPoints” on the app to save on future washes and collect rewards. A daily “Spin to Win” feature offers customers the chance to unlock additional savings during future visits to any of Flagstop’s 21 locations.
Flagstop celebrated the grand opening of its second Colonial Heights location in September, with an inaugural gathering that offered guests a complimentary Ultimate Wash package, free Kona Ice and featured an appearance from the VCU Rams mascot, Rodney the Ram. Flagstop is the Official Car Wash of VCU Athletics and a proud partner of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Richmond’s professional minor league baseball team. The grand opening party for the Harpers Mill location is scheduled to take place on November 2, 2024.
Flagstop’s continued growth and success is supported by a previous investment from Garnett Station Partners, a New York-based principal investment firm that manages over $2.3 billion of assets. Since the beginning of the partnership, Flagstop has grown its local footprint with eight additional sites.
