Members of International Carwash Association have made their mark on Nashville! A record number of attendees flocked to the iconic Music City Center Monday morning to kick off The Car Wash Show™ 2022 with a variety of high-impact headliners on leadership.

Butch Jerinic with renowned improv team Second City opened the day with a human wave pool and a fun demonstration highlighting the importance of trusting your instincts, reserving judgment, and building supportive teams, whether during an improv set or at your business. Josh Linkner shared the inspiring story of one guy who had the dream of owning a sports team, and how he transformed a minor league baseball team into something so much more by focusing on the fan experience. Jason O. Harris captivated attendees with breathtaking tales of flying military planes and the importance of trusting everyone on your team, from the youngest member to yourself. And Dan Heath emphasized the importance of tackling problems at the root.

Attendees flocked to the colorful exhibit hall floor, full of invigorating innovations and captivating conversations. The CAR WASH Magazine Live Studio drew crowds throughout the day thanks to engaging panels featuring old faces and new. Culture and leadership was the focus of the day, whether through discussions on hiring and retention, understanding the new generation of employees, or fostering diversity throughout the industry. The Pitch™ Theater was filled with presentations on the latest tech and trends in the industry, and the Meet the Market seminar offered valuable insight into the world of washes for those interested in investing in the industry.

The first day of the show rounded out with fellowship and – what else! – whiskey and moonshine on the steps of Music City Center during the Opening Reception and along Whiskey Row. The energy and enthusiasm is great here in Music City, and we get to do it all over again on Tuesday.
