In a significant development for the fleet management industry, Compass Fleet has partnered with Deluxe Payments to provide 24-hour support services and ongoing product development support, including support for Compass Fleet’s option of recurring virtual fleet card payments that will officially launch at ROADMAP, Destination 2: PRODUCTS, on Dec. 12 in Austin, Texas.
“This partnership was predicated by the remarkable growth in the fleet industry,” said Adrienne Andre, Compass Fleet executive director, who has over 25 years of experience in fleet management and payment solutions. “With government and commercial fleets spending over $3 billion annually on car washes and oil changes, there has been a surge in spending, thus increasing importance of efficient and flexible payment solutions for fleet operators.”
It was this growth that also contributed to Compass Fleet’s decision to add virtual fleet card payments, as this option allows for virtual transactions that do not require specialized equipment and have the ability to accept WEX and Voyager fleet cards, Andre said. “This innovative solution addresses a critical need in the market enabling car wash operators to seamlessly accept WEX and Voyager fleet card payments virtually.”
The partnership will also help Compass Fleet support and guide its customers on the new Federal Trade Commission’s rules related to subscription services and “Click to Cancel.”
