David Anderson, Chairman of Colonial Chemical ME Arabia (CCME) announced the appointment of Dr. Peter Chetcuti as President of Colonial Chemical ME Arabia. Chetcuti will report to the board directly and be responsible for all operations, manufacturing, commercial revenue, and P&L for CCME.

Chetcuti has more than 34 years of experience in the field of specialty chemicals. Prior to joining CCME, from 2009–2022, Chetcuti served as President of StarChem LLC, a specialty chemical manufacturer for the Textile, Oil and Gas, HI&I and Personal Care and Chemical Inter-mediates markets. From 1987–2009, he held leadership roles at Huntsman, a global chemical company, including positions as Regional Director of Huntsman Advanced Materials, Marketing Manager, and Business Unit Manager at Performance Polymer Division in North America. He received a BS in chemistry from University of Bristol, England, and PhD in chemistry from University of California, Los Angeles.
