An energized hush reverberates across the room, just before charged conversation sparks new ideas for the 35 car washers gathered in the classroom at the Kelley School of Business.

The International Carwash Association’s Car Wash Executive Management Institute™️ will take place this year from July 30 to August 3 at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. It is a program designed to enhance the leadership and management skills of car wash professionals through an intense, rigorous curriculum.

“This five-day program is a unique chance for you to expand your learning—or maybe you have an emerging leader in your business who would thrive after a week on campus,” said Claire Moore, chief learning officer for ICA.

Taught by an executive education faculty, the program is an immersive week of strategic business, financial and leadership training.

“So many great industry leaders, top-of-the-line professors and great content,” said Ryan Easter, VP of operations at Spark Car Wash. “I can’t wait to see how we are able to positively impact others with all that we’ve gained.”

Limited to 35 participants, each day is filled with opportunities to connect and learn in an intimate setting while building a network of like-minded car wash professionals.

The program is designed to train future leaders in the science of business leadership — leadership effectiveness and human capital, values-based leadership, ethics, accounting, finance, transformational strategy, diversity and inclusion, and new growth strategy. Each of the five days will feature focus points, such as values-based leadership, transformational strategy and identifying growth opportunities, and the three-circle growth strategy.
