For the fourth consecutive year, Bubble Bath Car Wash and Meals on Wheels San Antonio have united their efforts in a heartwarming mission, rallying to gather and distribute nearly 3,500 holiday cards destined for seniors and adults facing disabilities. The seasonal endeavor called upon the customers and staff of Bubble Bath Car Wash to fill blank holiday cards with heartfelt messages of affection and empathy. The cards were paired with meals courtesy of Meals on Wheels, forming a heartening package for individuals in need living in Bexar County.
The Annual Holiday Card Drive began in 2020 when isolation was at an all-time high due to social distancing. Since then, Bubble Bath Car Wash has tripled its impact by collecting three times as many holiday cards across its seven San Antonio locations.
"We are so proud to be a business from San Antonio," said Nick Lopez, Car Wash Executive Officer of Bubble Bath Car Wash. "The card drive is a wonderful example of how strong we are as a city and how we are all connected, even if we don't personally know each other. It's a project that is dear to my heart. We look forward to doing this every year."
From kind words to festive illustrations, each card holds a different message to bring a smile to the faces of the recipients. The drive's success was further amplified by the Bubble Bath Car Wah executive team volunteering to make deliveries to those served by Meals on Wheels.
