Big Dan’s Car Wash, a division of the Shadday Family Office (www.shaddayco.com), announces plans to expand its premium express car wash operations across the southeast. Phase I includes over $100 million invested in strategically selected markets, with 15 locations slated to open by the end of 2022.

A third-generation company, the Shadday Family Office has been involved in the car wash industry for over 20 years. Named for Chairman Jarrett Shadday’s father, Dan Shadday, Big Dan’s mission is to deliver a great experience to its customers, to provide its associates with rewarding opportunities, and to provide a fast, effective, and friendly service. “My dad was a great host and taught me long ago that the key to operating a successful business was to treat people with respect and kindness. For us, it isn’t just about washing cars – it’s about the people that choose to do business with us,” Jarrett Shadday said.

A successful retail and convenience store operator under the brand of Cowboys Food Mart, Mr. Shadday is a proven, high volume, multi-unit operator, who is applying that knowledge to the express car wash industry. “My dad and I were business partners for many years, and I’m excited to continue and grow the Shadday Family Office with the addition of my sons Jay and Gamble.” Shadday said. Jay is president of Big Dan’s and Gamble will be an operating partner in Florida.

Currently, there are six locations under construction with an additional seven locations breaking ground by the end of the year. With each wash employing approximately 15 team members year-round, the company will add an additional 200 employees to their workforce. Big Dan’s has closed first-round funding for their first 15 locations and is preparing to open funding for phase two.

Pinnacle Financial Partners leads the financing for this expansion, which also includes private equity and lending from other institutions. “Our team has worked with the Shadday family for many years, and it was an honor to be able to answer the call in helping with this new chapter in their story,” said Baimba Norman, financial advisor at Pinnacle. “This is a tremendous project that will bring jobs and growth to several communities in the Southeast.”
